Warm, dark, and humid armpits provide an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. When bacteria on the skin's surface break down fatty acids and proteins in sweat, they produce odour-causing compounds, leading to the formation of body odour.

Many deodorants on the market use aluminium salts, which temporarily block sweat glands to reduce sweating. Others use sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to change the pH of the skin. Lavilin contains neither. Instead, its herbal, zinc-based formula neutralises odour-causing bacteria on the skin, without blocking pores or stopping you from sweating.

Lavilin deodorant can last up to 7 days without odour. This is because the main ingredients of the product can eliminate the source of odour. The actual duration depends on how long it takes for each person's odour-causing bacteria to regrow. Some people can use it once a week, while others may need to reapply it after 4-5 days. In addition, long-term Lavilin users will find that the duration of the effect will increase after about three months of use. Many of our customers start by using it once every 3 days and can eventually use it once every 6-7 days.

Lavilin has a gentle formula that is suitable for sensitive skin, and it can help control body odour for people who sweat a lot. Showering and swimming will not affect the effectiveness of Lavilin. Even using soap to wash and shave your underarms is not a problem, saving you time and money!

Lavilin uses a bio-balance formula to neutralise odour-causing bacteria. It is zinc-based and includes a blend of probiotics and other natural herbal ingredients from plants to nourish and soothe. Additionally, Lavilin does not interfere with the function of sweat glands and is free of ethanol, aluminium, parabens, preservatives, and phthalates, which are irritating and harmful ingredients

New hormones in teenagers can lead to increased sweating. During puberty, these hormones cause a different type of gland (mainly in the underarm and groin areas) to produce oils in addition to sweat. Bacteria that break down these oils and sweat can produce a particularly pungent body odour.

Lavilin deodorant products are not antiperspirants and do not affect sweating at all.

If applied sparingly according to the instructions, a small jar of deodorant cream can last up to about 12 months, making Lavilin much more cost-effective than most deodorant products on the market!

Absolutely not! Another benefit of the product is that, because you use very little, it stays on the skin and does not transfer to or stain your clothes!

Many new Lavilin users have used antiperspirants for a long time. Antiperspirants reduce sweating, so when you switch to a deodorant your underarms go back to sweating normally, and your skin can take a little while to adjust. During this time you may need to apply Lavilin more often. After a few applications, most people find the odour protection lasts longer.
